Some medieval parts of St Mary the Virgin Church at Stringston can be seen in the chancel arch, font, chancel wall plate and a carved head in the vestry. The tower was rebuilt in 1765 and contains an early medieval window on the South side; the broach spire was added in 1879. The oldest of the bells is 15th Century and so too is the churchyard cross with figures of the Crucifixion. Memorials are to the Albyn family and initials of local occupiers are carved onto the pew ends.
