The main transport hub of the Isles of Scilly is St. Mary’s Harbour at Hugh Town. From this busy quayside, passenger launches leave on the regular journeys to the other four islands along with sailings taking freight to the same destinations, the steamer service to and from Penzance as well as a constant stream of leisure craft from RIBs to yachts. Many special excursions to see birds and seals and Wolf Rock lighthouse are also run by the Boatmen’s Association, which organises all the launch acitivities.
