Church cove at Gunwalloe is a sandy beach split by a stream, with St. Winwalloe's church, built in the 15th Century, right next to the beach. It is still used as a parish church today, and was built on the site of a monastery which was mentioned in the doomsday book. The church has lost none of its atmosphere and the stained glass windows allow for a light and airy ambience. Located on the Lizard Peninsular, it is near to other attractions, including Mullion and Poldhu.
