The Anglican church of St.Martin’s is one of two on the island, the other being a Methodist church. It is a quite plain and simple utilitarian building constructed from local stone topped by a small bell turret which holds a bell rescued from a shipwreck. It was rebuilt in 1886 after having been struck by lightning.
