Stoke-sub-Hamdon Priory is a former priests' house of the chantry chapel of St Nicholas and dates back to the 14th Century. The Grade 1 listed building is recognised as being one of the most important of its age in this area of the country. The National Trust has managed the property since 1946, and one of the most noteworthy features is the great hall inside.
