Tavistock Methodist Church is a modern church in the centre of this Devon town. Founded by local Victorians who erected the large church half way up a small hill overlooking the River Tavy. Today the church holds regular religious services but provides a much wider range of services to the local community. These include a wide variety of children’s activities as well as services for older residents and visitors such as tea and coffee mornings. The church is also very active in local sports that include their own football team.
