Unique in North Devon – 16th century watermill with 18ft overshot wheel – magnificent restoration from dereliction, containing a wealth of information and interesting machinery. The mill is open for tours, and includes puzzles for children such as ’find the mice’, ’count the millstones’ challenges, as well as a photo quiz. The Miller’s Wife tea rooms sells cream teas and homemade cakes. Unique pottery made by Robin Gray is also sold at the mill.
