Torquay harbour and marina is a very popular place with visitors, having many facilities that centre on the tourism industry. Lying to the north of Tor Bay, and close to restaurants, bars and the Pavilion Shopping Centre, the enclosed harbour bustles with life. The Princess Pier promenade has plenty of places to sit and watch the activity and a ferry service operates from the pier, with pleasure boats, yachts and HM Customs also using the harbour.
