This spectacular 19th Century estate is a beautiful reminder of an age of grace and fantastic architecture. The National Trust acquired the property in 2002 with the help of generous public support. A great deal of conservation work has been undertaken in recent times, leaving a working kitchen brought to life. The house was home to the Gibbs family for four generations and contains a wealth of interesting art and curios.
