The Upper Plym Valley is an area of Dartmoor close to Yelverton which is particularly noted for its extensive array of archaeological sites. English Heritage manage the entire area where visitors will find prehistoric interesting places such as prehistoric Drizzlecombe and the 19th Century Eylesbarrow Mine. This 6 square miles of beautiful Dartmoor landscape has over 300 sites of interest on it.
