Washford Station Museum can be found between Watchet and Blue Anchor on the line’s second highest summit. The station building was built in 1874 and next to it stands a reconstructed Midford signal box housing a level frame which is part of the Somerset & District Railway Trust exhibits. The museum contains items from the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway and includes amongst its artefacts, rolling stock and steam locomotives, old name-boards, tools, lamps and tickets.
