Barra is amazing - an area of beauty, friendly people, interesting wildlife, history and culture. It is alive! As for Castlebay in particular, the accommodation varies in facilities, so everyone is catered for, the experience of eating out is enjoyable and we especially loved the takeaway fish/seafood filled buns from the wee stall in Casltebay. The museum, information office and shops all helped us to have a good time. We'll be back for our third annual visit in a few weeks - can't wait!   - sueb
