The modern road (A87) from Sconser to Broadford follows the high pass above and around Loch Ainort. Visitors who are not in a hurry can take the slower, more scenic Moll route - once the only road - around the headland. This minor road leaves the A87 at the Sconser golf club, and rejoins it just north of Luib. This scenic drive is a delight, traversing the old bridge and offering stunning views of the Red Cuillins, Loch Ainort, and out to the isles of Scalpay and Raasay.
