Ord Beach, in the peaceful township of Ord, is located on the attractive north coast of Skye’s Sleat Peninsula. The beach, set in a sheltered cove, is regularly visited by inquisitive seals, and in good weather there are fine sea views across to the Strathaird Peninsula. This is the perfect spot to sit and watch the dramatic sunsets over the Cuillins. Nearby are the ancient ruins of St Comgan’s Chapel which dates back to the A.D. 700s.
