The viewpoint is the perfect vantage point to see the amazing phenomena of Kilt Rock and it's unusual waterfall. There is a safety barrier but I would recommend that children and dogs are kept under very strict supervision. We visited Kilt Rock on a windy day and were surprised to hear the metal barrier singing. This was caused by the wind blowing through holes in the metal tubes. It was a really eerie sound which seemed to enhance the atmosphere of this beautiful place.
