The primary mission of the Second World War Experience is to collect testimonies of men and women who lived through the Second World War, and to preserve the fascinating stories that they have to share. The centre also houses a collection of World War II photographs, posters, documents and press cuttings that help to bring to life this terrible time in Europe for those who did not see it with their own eyes.
