Situated opposite the leafy Eccleshall Woods, Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet is an industrial works that used to produce agricultural tools over 300 years ago. A trip to the Hamlet will provide you with an opportunity to see the only crucible steel furnace on the planet that is still fully complete. You can see the original waterwheel, grinding hull and workers accommodation. The Hamlet is located on the River Sheaf and wedding photographs are often taken in the adjacent picturesque gardens.
