Situated in the former home of a Victorian mill owner, Bankfield Museum is rightly regarded as one of the region’s most fascinating public display spaces, possessing an international reputation for its collection of textiles and costumes. Additionally, the museum boasts a varied assortment of other surprising artefacts, including exhibitions of toys, decorative art and basketry.
