Bishops House Museum stands in the grounds of the fabulous Meersbrook Park. It is the best preserved example of a timber-framed home in Sheffield and is a fantastic sight. The architectural style so oft seen has never looked so fresh and interesting. Dating from the 16th century the interior is no less impressive, beautifully and meticulously recreated it offers a rare and amazing glimpse of how people once lived. Retaining many of its original features and designs Bishops House is an experience not to be missed.
