The Brontė Parsonage Museum lies between the picturesque village of Haworth and the wild moorland beyond, and this homely Georgian house still retains the atmosphere of the Brontės time. The Brontės are the worlds most famous literary family and the Parsonage was their home from 1820 to 1861. Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontė were the authors of Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and Tenant of Wildfell Hall, some of the best loved books in the English language.
