Located in Sheffield City Centre on the site of the old Sheffield Castle, this popular market houses over 200 stalls offering a wide variety of goods ranging from homewares and clothing to groceries and fresh produce. It is particularly famous for the excellent selection of fresh meat and fish on offer in the Fresh Food Market. The original Norman castle on this site was demolished in 1648, and what is left can be reached by a door located at the rear of the Market.
