The Dales Countryside Museum is located within the Dales and was established in order to offer a heritage guide to the region for those who visit. The way that the area and te smaller communities within it have developed throughout the centuries is a fascinating subject, and the museum brings to life this change through a great many artefacts and interesting historical finds that are on display.
