As the home of Leeds United Football Club, this stadium has a long and distinguished history which has seen several cup and league victories. At full attendance, Elland Road can hold over 40,000 people (all seated). The football club was formed in 1904 and the first game was played at Elland Road in October 1904. The stadium also has a club shop and facilities for conferences and public events.
