Situated conveniently close to Halifax railway station Eureka! the museum for children, is a truly innovative and exciting display space which is aimed primarily at youngsters between the ages of three and 12 years. Possessing several interactive galleries it is unlike more traditional museums, in that rows of forbidding glass cases have been banished in favour of highly imaginative tactile exhibits that demand to be explored by child sized hands. Kids can learn more about the world, about sound, about their own health and countless other aspects of living and growing.
