Just north of Bridlington, Flamborough Head - an area of outstanding natural beauty - is a rocky chalk headland offering picturesque coves and numerous sea caves. It projects 6 miles out into the North Sea and is an excellent site for bird watching or for simply observing the changing moods of the sea. Of the thousands who flock to the main tourist resorts on the East Coast every year, sadly only a small fraction take the trouble to visit this stunning rocky coastline.
