This museum is located in Whitby and carries an extensive collection of local history. There are many separate collections on display, each of which is focussed on a different element of local life in and around this area. There are pieces that relate to the lot of a fisherman, tools and other implements he would have used, as well as costumes and pictures. Other exhibits relate to farming and agriculture in the area over the centuries.
