Tommy Collins, later Brigadier Collins, founded this museum in 1938 with the intention of protecting and preserving the history of this famous regiment. In 2007, the museum underwent an extensive overhaul and reopened bigger and better than ever. The collection in the museum spans three centuries and illustrates many of the battles in which the regiment engaged. On display are many thousands of medals, uniforms, weapons and archives of photographs and documents.
