Hornsea Museum first opened its doors to the public in 1978, situated in the charming location of an 18th Century farmhouse. The museum quickly became an award-winning feature of the community, reflecting the changing patterns of life in North Holderness throughout the centuries. The collection begins in the pre-industrial age of the early 1700s and offers a warts and all exploration of the community to the end of the Second World War.
