Hull is of course one of the most important ports on the east coast of England and therefore has a long and interesting maritime history. People in this city have always relied on the sea for sustenance as well as commerce and transport. This museum uses a series of artefacts and documents, photographs and pictures to bring to life this fascinating community of the waves.
