Take a trip down memory lane with one of the finest private collections of toys in the north of England. Dolls, dolls houses, teddy bears, tin plate toys, lead figures and games are all represented here and exhibits date from 350BC to present day. The museum is noted for its fine display of early English wooden dolls. With a shop selling traditional and unusual toys, games and jigsaw puzzles as well as souvenirs there really is something here for old and young alike.
