In the heart of Leeds centre rests the exquisite parish church which was opened in 1841 and this was not the first church constructed on this plot of land. Evidence has been discovered and suggests that there have been several churches built on this site since the 17th Century. The present church is constructed from stone from the locality and mainly taken from the local Bramley Fall and Horsforth quarries. The interior décor is pure and the detail of the quartz pebble and large sand stone walls still stands firm and expelling vibrancy throughout. The church welcomes the public and visitors are able to explore this vast place of worship and to indulge themselves within the history it possesses.
