Opened in 2001, the Millennium Galleries are a showcase building in Sheffield city centre connecting with the Winter Garden to form part of Sheffield’s Heart of the City Project. A contemporary, stylish piece of architecture built on two levels; there are four galleries, a café and Learning Centre to peruse through at your leisure. The Special Exhibition Gallery regularly hosts major exhibitions from London’s Tate and Victoria & Albert Museums.
