Morley's magnificent town hall which stands in Queen Street opened in 1895 and is one of West Yorkshire's most attractive such regional headquarters. A Grade ll listed building, the town hall possesses an ornate domed tower and a broad flight of steps at the entrance. Internally a traditional Victorian concert hall has seating for over 600 visitors and regularly stages a varied programme of events, including the popular Morley Literature Festival which see countless well-known authors visit the town. The town hall is all well used throughout the year with various organisations mking use of the facilities on offer.
