This area of North Yorkshire is very beautiful and has always prided itself on retaining an independence and set of traditions that are different from much of the nation. This little museum explores the way that the people of this region have lived for hundreds of years. There are exhibits that relate to their traditional work, leisure activities and politics, observing the changes as they happened.
