Mr WE Tate established the Museum of the History of Education in the 1950s in order to document the changes in the education system and to promote research and publications into this subject. The collection comprises over 10,000 items collected from across the country. There is an extensive archive of student and teacher records, laboratory equipment, magic lanterns, object lesson boxes and much more.
