Grosmont is the northern terminus of this railway preservation project that runs 18 miles through the national park to Pickering. It also is home the locomotive sheds which house many of the 20+ steam locomotives owned by the NYMR. Daily services operate between April and October and for special events see the web site. Popular through its association with TV shows and movies such as Heartbeat and Harry Potter.
