Constructed in 1733, Nostell Priory is one of Yorkshire's most popular historic houses attracting thousands of visitors every year. Standing on the site of a mediaeval priory the magnificent building is famed for its collection of Chippendale furniture and works of art by Kauffman, Holbein and Brueghel. As the home of the Winn family for 350 years the house is now protected by The National Trust and surrounded by acres of parkland and lakeside walks which just beg to be explored, particularly during the summer months.
