Build in the 15th Century, the Old Queens Head is the oldest surviving domestic building in Sheffield. Once used as a lodge for fishing in the River Sheaf, the pub is now surrounded by the Sheffield bus interchange and the Ponds Forge swimming complex. It holds a reputation as one of the most haunted buildings in the city. Ghosts have been spotted, lights reportedly go on and off by themselves, and the door to the snug bar which is secured at night is often found open in the mornings.
