Originally built in 1929 and with race meetings introduced in 1932, Owlerton Stadium is where to go in Sheffield if you want to witness greyhound racing at its most exhilarating. With approximately 260 race meetings each year there’s always renewed hope your dog will cross the line first! The stadium had a £3,000,000 refurbishment in 1991 and regularly attracts punters from across the region. There are also occasional stock car and monster truck events held at Owlerton.
