Saltburn Valley offers an attractive and peaceful escape from the busy town. Its lush gardens are hidden away alongside Skelton Beck which runs through the valley. A number of circular walks have been provided, and the Saltburn Miniature Railway passes through the grounds. Visitors can see the Valley Gardens, Italian Gardens and Tea Lawns. The Woodland Centre, open Sunday to Friday, is also located within the valley, offering an insight into the valley and its wildlife. A number of events and courses are held in the valley throughout the year.
