Housed in an Italianate villa built in the 1840s, Scarborough Art Gallery represents one of the most impressive artistic collections in this area of Yorkshire. There are wide ranges of paintings on display that have been collected from many hundreds of years of history. Highlights at the gallery include works by HB Carter, Frank Mason, Atkinson Grimshaw and Lord Leighton to name but a few.
