Situated on the hills overlooking the city, the Sheffield Ski Village features Europe's largest outdoor artificial ski slope. Having undergone extensive re-development, it now has a revolutionary new virtual snow surface called 'snowflex'. Skiing lessons at all different levels are offered, and there is also a toboggan run and snowtubing as well as the Adventure Mountain children's playground.
