We welcome you to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and invite you to discover the underground wonders that await. Access to the cave is via well-lit steps and gravel paths taking you into the world that time forgot. A natural dry stream passage formed some 500,000 years ago with stalagmite and stalactite formations. It was found by lead miners in the 19th Century and now opened as a showcave. After visiting the cave, a 20 minute video is shown explaining about the cave and surrounding area.
