A good night out in Halifax must surely include a visit to the town’s popular Victoria Theatre which regularly stages a first rate programme of international entertainment, ranging from dance and drama, through to opera and comedy. Originally christened the Victoria Hall it officially opened for business in February 1901 and cost a mere £38,000 to build. Today, the theatre, located conveniently close to the town centre plays host to some of the country’s best known performers, including famous faces from the small screen.
