Wilton Park, located adjacent to Bradford Road in Batley, has much to recommend it and the whole family will enjoy a visit to this surprisingly tranquil green oasis, particularly during the summer months. Facilities include bowling greens, cafe, formal gardens, basket ball court and huge ornamental lake complete with a central island inhabited by a large number of geese and ducks. The park also boasts a varied programme of public events throughout the year, often concluding with a Christmas carol concert.
