This collection is dedicated to the inland waterways and industrial heritage that surrounds Goole. The navigation of the Aire and the Calder are the primary focuses of the exhibits which also go into depth about the handling of coal on the water in so called ‘Tom Puddings’, an open backed transport vessel. The collection also has a photograph archive, several restored vessels and a floating gallery.
